Arguments for Women's Rights

Women’s rights groups used an array of arguments to sway those who were undecided in their support of women’s suffrage. Newspaper advertisements, cartoons, and broadsides often featured former President Abraham Lincoln. His values allowed women to position the fight for enfranchisement to fight for emancipation.
